High clouds at first light — the mood Aube is written in

Extrait №1

AUBE

The hour before anyone speaks.

Cold air on stone, citrus oil still on the fingers, the first kettle far away in another room. Aube opens at a whisper and warms exactly as slowly as a morning does — the musk arriving the way light crosses a floor.

The composition

How dawn is built.

Tête · 0—20 min

Calabrian bergamot, silver pine

The cold, glancing open — citrus pressed within six hours of picking, sharpened with a trace of pine so it reads as air, not fruit.

Cœur · 20 min—3 h

Dawn-harvest neroli, orange blossom water

The warmth arriving. Neroli from trees picked before sunrise, kept deliberately shy of sweetness — a morning still deciding.

Fond · 3 h—dusk

White musk, blond cedar, the Lumen accord

Clean skin and warmed wood; the house signature settling in like full daylight. What people smell when they say you smell like yourself.

Wearing it

Made for beginnings.

Aube is the interview, the first train, the apology delivered in person. It sits close for the first hour — a private weather — then opens a hand-width of sillage that stays polite in small rooms.

Wearers who run warm get more neroli; cold-skinned wearers keep the pine edge until noon. Both are correct. Pairs at dusk with a single pass of Nocturne at the collarbone, a trick we officially discourage and privately all use.

Cut citrus, the raw material of the opening chord
“I wore Aube to a 7 a.m. flight and the stranger beside me said the cabin smelled like a garden before rain. We are engaged now. Results may vary.”
