The pour finished at 4:40 on Thursday afternoon, in the kind of clear weather June owes us after March. Floor 58 took 212 cubic metres of concrete, six hours, and the full attention of nineteen people — plus roughly forty spectators on the river path, several of whom now feature in the drone footage, waving.
The numbers this month
Structure sits at 68% — floor 58 of 71 topped out, with the crown steel already fabricated and waiting in the yard. The glazing line reached floor 34, which means every Terraces residence now has its glass. Fit-out crews are working floors 11 through 16; the pool on 09 holds water and passed its first chemistry week.
Thirteen floors of structure remain. For the first time, the crane driver can see the whole river bend from the cab — she says the penthouse buyers are underpaying.
The ovation
A tower crane operator does two thousand blind lifts a month, guided by radio and nerve. When Dana swung the last bundle of 58's rebar into place — her ten-thousandth lift on this job — the sales suite watched it on the site feed and stood up. She has asked us to clarify that she was "just doing her job." The ovation stands.
What's next
July: floors 59–61, the west core climb, and the first crown-steel delivery. The wind buffer we spent in April remains spent — we are still tracking the published completion of Q2 2027, with the schedule risk register updated in the buyer portal as always.
Every diary entry is signed and dated. If a month goes badly, you will read it here first — that is the arrangement.
